This class is designed for the individual that truly wants to step out from the crowd. I meet people every week who do a great job going out and meeting people, they stick out their hand and say "Hello, I'm xxxx, what do you do?" But their commission breath ruins their chances of ever building a relationship. Much less getting a referral.

So many people don't know how to meet, greet and stay engaged.

We aren't meant to get referrals from everyone we meet, but we can have a decent chance of putting them into our sales funnels and honestly trying.

Most sales happen weeks and months, even years, after the initial contact. What IF you'd had a system, a process, that you'd been working? How much difference would that make to your life right now? How much different will it make a year from now.

Zig Ziglar said "you'll be the same five years from today, as you are today, except for what you listen to, who you associate with and what you read."

And, I have two accountability calls with my accountability partner each week.

After each lesson, you'll want to stay on the line because this is where much of the MAGIC happens. It's called Observational Learning.

I am on at least 5 hours of training calls per week where I AM LEARNING, where I'm just listening to MY COACH teach me and others and it is in the Q&A where I learn so much.

- Small, minor changes will give you an edge over others. (Like your email signature on your phone...it's a smart phone, right? Then treat it that way. Oh...and put your phone number in EVERY email you send)

- The 2 faces of social media and how you use social media to never make a cold call and keep all handshakes warm (LOL, you'll love this process).

You're going to learn about a certain style of goal setting, and I don't particularly like goal setting, but this is different. It's what we call T.A.S.K.S goal setting.

You're going to learn about how your personality, some people call in temperament, impacts your sales and marketing. The way you naturally sell is related to your personality; that's your output. But others receive those messages differently; that's their input.

And trust, you'll hear me talk and teach about the 4 CORES OF CREDIBILITY; integrity, intent, capabilities and results. People buy from people they know, like and trust.

Let me say something right here; if you've read this far, something is tugging at you.

If you're concerned about that you won't get your money's worth....know this: You WILL be taught a lot of "stuff." 

Anyone that knows me knows that I ALWAYS over deliver.

So, what else is this all about and you might be asking why it's called a boot camp.
 

This is a boot camp type mentality. You're going to learn a lot of stuff and it will start changing your way of thinking and emotions around sales and marketing.

That's why there's 2  Accountability calls per week. And they're group calls which brings that OBSERVATIONAL LEARNING thing I talked about above back into play.

You might or might not want to talk on each call. YOU PROBABLY WILL NOT. 

But. But. You will want to call in and listen to what others have to say. Their struggles, their successes, their questions....this will compel you in ways you've probably not experienced in a long time.

The bottom line is this...I will want those in the class to go out and meet new people EVERY DAY of the work-week (take the weekends off). I will give you a new way to have discussions with people.

And if you're an introvert, or just don't like networking, that's ok. You'll learn how to make this work. It's the introvert, or those that will act like the introvert, that follows the directions and makes things really happen AFTER the handshake. After the meeting.

At the end of twelve weeks, you're going to have a new set of disciplines that will be working for you. They won't be habits just yet, but you will know what to keep doing.

The biggest problem YOU WILL HAVE, is your own self-limiting beliefs. Your SELF-TALK will try to change your mind. Our sub-conscious has a responsibility to maintain reality. And our reality is right where we are right now. This is our comfort-zone and whether it is serving us well or not, it is where we're at and it wants to keep us there. Thus, we tell ourselves stuff like;

- I don't need anything else.

- I'm who I am and I'm not going to change. 

- All this stuff this guy Danny's talking about is hogwash.

- I can get where I want to go by continuing to do what I'm doing. Maybe you can, but ask yourself "why am I still reading this?"

- It doesn't help to "stay engaged" with people, they're only looking out for themselves anyway.

- I just need to meet more people, that's all, meet more people. True, but what else? What are you doing AFTER you meet new people? Do you get calls NOW from people you met months ago? You should. You should be meeting people today and engaging with them in such a way over the coming months and years so that...when they are ready to buy the product or service you're selling...they think about you.

- I don't have the money. If you don't have the money and have read this far, then you really need this.

- I don't have the time. You don't have the time to change? You don't have the time to develop a real sales funnel. You have the time to do what you have to do, what you want to do.

- This doesn't really work. How do you know? Is it because you haven't worked it? Maybe you haven't had the right help? Maybe you just need to understand how to breakout of your comfort zone?

Let me ask you to do this; before you reject what I'm saying, understand it. That's one of the lessons two of my mentors, Paul Martinelli and Christian Simpson, have taught me the past few years. I'd read that in Psyco-Cybernetics and As A Man Thinkth, but.....I hadn't learned it. 

We all have our own personal learning model and it rarely serves us really well.

Dr Ruskin, Stanford University, says that we have around 60,000 thoughts per day and 80 to 90% of them are repetitive. REPETITIVE. That means we will habitually have 80% of the same thoughts today as yesterday.

How do we break free?

Choices. We make new choices.

And that's a BIG part of this Guerrilla Marketing and Sales Boot Camp is about. Making new choices. HECK, when I went through Navy boot camp in 1973, that's exactly what that was about, new choices. Think about it...for 12 weeks they were working me into a new mind-set. And it was hard. It was hard going in, but coming out....it didn't seem that it'd been that hard.

Then I went to submarine school and that was new. I'd heard stories about how hard it was, and it was. But when I got through those 12 weeks, it wasn't that hard.

Why? Because I had a new mind-set. My thinking was different, I was developing a new mind-set, new disciplines and new habits.

In a small part, that's what these 12 weeks will be like. You and I won't be in the same barracks. I won't be waking you up with a metal trash can banging your bunk for a 2 hour tarmac march in the middle of the night, or a surprise trip to the decompression chamber.

But you know, sales can seem that hard to some people. I know, because it can with me. My sales coach, Richard Balius, told me just recently that I was having trouble with my self-talk around a particular challenge I was having..no wait, not a challenge, it was problem...I don't want to minimize anything. It was a problem. 

We rarely have challenges in areas like this, they're problems that need to be dealt with.
